I am a person who loves moving image, stills, set decorating and the arts.
After graduating with a Visual Arts degree many moons ago and taking many photos with my beloved film camera, I found myself working in the film and TV Industry with well known Production Designers and Art Directors. Assisting these amazing creatives allowed me to further develop skills in composition, storytelling and playing with colour.
My need to explore the world led me to travel on and off for about 5 years, and after coming back to Melbourne and starting a family my focus shifted more towards photography. I began to shoot interesting bars for an amazing Melbourne company 'Hidden City Secrets' which gave me the opportunity to combine my photography and decorating skills. This led to photographing things that inspired me such as people and places, documenting what was around me.
I love capturing my subjects candidly rather than staged, and when styling for shoots, (either my own or others in the creative community) I really enjoy the problem solving and creative process involved in tailoring things to suit the individual project.
